The COSMOTE CHRONOS application is a free mobile application designed for smartphones and tablets, tailored for the archaeological site of the Acropolis of Athens. It integrates augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies with the 5G network to offer an immersive and educational experience exploring the site's history.

The application is available for download globally and allows users to engage with the Acropolis whether they are physically present on the site, at home, at school, or anywhere around the world.

1. What does the COSMOTE CHRONOS app offer?
   • Navigation through 3D digital representations of specific monuments on the Acropolis and selected views from the Acropolis Museum.
   • Accessible from various locations worldwide, offering self-guided or interactive audio tours.
   • Engage in real-time Q&A conversations with Clio, a digital tour guide.

1. Tips for best performance
   • For Android devices: manufactured after 2018, featuring ARCore, and running Android OS version 10 or higher. The use of the latest version is recommended.
   • For iOS devices: manufactured after 2018, equipped with ARKit, and running iOS version 11.0 or higher. The latest version is recommended.
   • For optimal performance with Clio: A 5G network connection with a minimum speed of 200 Mbps and a maximum latency of 40 ms is required.
   • Simple auto-guided tours: A 4G connection or Wi-Fi network with a minimum internet speed of 48 Mbps is recommended.
   • In noisy environments, it is advised to use headphones for better audio quality.
   • Ensure well-lit surroundings when using AR features. For dynamic lighting based on various factors such as the sun's position and weather conditions, activate the artificial lighting feature during the AR experience.
